The Connecticut Office of Tourism (COT) invites interested tourism, arts and history representatives or businesses to attend one of the Connecticut Tourism Marketing & Grant Outreach Meetings being held at various locations throughout the state during February.

Governor Malloy and the state legislature allocated $15 million a year to the statewide tourism marketing fund, which is intent on launching a new two-year marketing initiative to “develop, foster and stimulate the state’s brand identity and bolster its reputation as a tourism and business destination.”

The agenda includes opportunities to meet Connecticut Tourism’s marketing team; give input to Connecticut’s new brand identity and strategic marketing plan; share strategies and tactics to engage new audiences to experience Connecticut; learn about new market research findings and tourism marketing challenge grants.
